Last updated: July 2026 · Stand: Juli 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website (five2nine.ai) within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

AvH Capital UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Eichwaldstraße 32, 77652 Offenburg, Germany
Managing Director: Andreas von Hirschhausen
Phone: +49 1567 9580641
Email: contact@aavh.de

2. Overview

This website is the information page for the five 2 nine event and is designed to be privacy-friendly: we do not use any cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and we do not create user profiles. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may set cookies that are strictly necessary for the secure operation of the website; these are exempt from consent under § 25 (2) TDDDG. As we use no consent-requiring cookies or tracking technologies, no cookie consent banner is required. The processing described below is limited to what is technically necessary to operate the site and to deliver the content you request.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), acting as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When you access the site, your browser automatically transmits data that is stored temporarily in server log files, in particular:

This processing is necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

4. Web Fonts (Self-Hosted)

All web fonts required to display this website are hosted locally on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or to any other third-party font provider is established for this purpose, and no data is transmitted to such providers when you visit the site.

5. Registration, Applications and Sponsorship Enquiries

The "Save your spot", "Submit your use case" and "Apply to sponsor" buttons are plain mailto links or hyperlinks to a registration page. No data is transmitted until you actively use them. If you contact us this way, the data you provide (e.g. your name, email address and message) is processed solely to handle your request in connection with the event. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a (pre-)contractual measure, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Where a registration button links to a third-party ticketing or form provider, that provider's own privacy policy applies to the data you enter there.

6. External Links

This website contains links to external services and partners, such as fctb, the event venue (TechQuartier), and LinkedIn. These are plain hyperlinks — no data is transmitted to these providers until you actively click a link. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies; we have no influence over their processing.

7. International Data Transfers

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, is based in and may process data in the United States. Such transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR and/or the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Should you follow an external link to a third-party service, any data transfer to that provider is governed by its own privacy policy, not by us.

8. Storage Duration

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Server log data is stored for a short period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymised. Data from enquiries is deleted once the matter has been resolved, subject to statutory retention periods.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right, at any time, to:

Right to object: where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@aavh.de.

10. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority competent for us is:

Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW)
Heilbronner Straße 35, 70191 Stuttgart, Germany
www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de

11. No Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our website or to legal requirements. The current version applicable is the one published on this page.
